Wrestling legend Bobby Eaton has been hospitalized for heart related issues, but a new update says he’s doing better after being treated and getting new medications.
It was originally reported by some outlets that Eaton had suffered a heart attack, the latest in several heart-related issues in the last decade. Eaton has had several health issues including cardiac problems a few years ago, but Eaton’s wife Donna was also cited as saying he is OK now and recovering.
Cornette has since updated fans, saying Eaton did not have a heart attack, but specified he had congestive heart failure and symptoms including fluid buildup in his chest and legs, which caused his heart to work harder. Cornette noted Eaton is being treated and his situation is improving, and said Bobby thanked all of the fans who were worried about him.
BOBBY EATON UPDATE: He did NOT have a heart "attack", but congestive heart failure/fluid buildup in chest, legs, etc causing heart to work harder. Being treated with diuretics, changing meds, heart rate down, pacemaker is fine, situation improving. He thanks all who are worried!
