AEW World Championship Match Confirmed For AEW All Out

The AEW World Championship match is now confirmed for AEW All Out.

AEW World Champion Jon Moxley kicked off the go-home edition of AEW Dynamite to address his controversial win over CM Punk on August 24. Moxley noted that he heard Punk was once the “60-minute man,” however Punk only lasted mere minutes in the ring in their undisputed title match. The new world champion stated that he has “zero sympathy” for CM Punk.

Moxley went on to reveal that he had an open contract for his challenger at All Out. Moxley noted that it could be someone from AEW or could be anyone from anywhere in the world. He dropped the contract in the ring and then left. After he disappeared, AEW coach and CM Punk’s trainer Ace Steel retrieved the contract and put it in his pocket.

At the top of the second hour, CM Punk appeared in the ring and initially questioned if he’d ever be one-hundred percent again following his foot surgery. Ace Steel interrupted and fired up Punk by reminding him who he is and where he came from. Punk, with newfound motivation, went out into his hometown crowd to the sign the contract.

It is now official: Jon Moxley vs. CM Punk II will headline All Out. Below is the updated pay-per-view lineup:
