IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley continues to deal with a calf injury.
Shelley was set to compete at Wrestling REVOLVER Season Finale on December 2. However, on December 1, Wrestling REVOLVER announced that Shelley is unable to compete due to injury.
Shelley commented on the news by saying that he does not have the full capacity to return yet. He apologized to the fans and stated that calf injuries are tricky to deal with. Shelley wrote that he is week to week, but progress is going well.
Shelley previously missed IMPACT Turning Point due to injury. He then had to cancel some independent dates due to the setback. Shelley returned to the ring at Remarkable Dream Sequence on November 18. He also wrestled at the IMPACT/AAA Ultra Clash taping on November 26.
