Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton are facing disciplinary action following last week’s promo and a surprise attack at the hands of Flair tonight.
Ahead of tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, fans captured footage of Flair attacking Stratton outside of the arena to SmackDown. Stratton is set to compete tonight, but it seems like Flair definitely wanted to send a message.

During the broadcast of SmackDown, Joe Tessitore confirmed that both stars had been warned by WWE. According to Tesstore, the disciplinary action not only relates to Flair’s actions, but also the pair’s explosive promo last week, which he says crossed the line.
During last Friday’s SmackDown, Flair and Stratton seemed to get personal extremely quickly. Unlike their split-screen encounter weeks ago, Flair was visibly thrown off by the raucous Chicago crowd, and went off script. The back-and-forth devolved into personal shots from the two. Stratton mocked Flair’s marriages, while Flair alleged Stratton’s boyfriend, Ludwig Kaiser, was in her DMs.

According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), staff and talent alike believe things didn’t go according to script. While it appears there were no further altercations backstage, Flair reportedly didn’t look pleased following the ordeal.
