Triple H Reveals The Status Of WWE NXT Europe

Triple H discusses the status of WWE NXT Europe.

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H recently sat down with Alex McCarthy of Daily Mail. When asked about the status of NXT Europe, Hunter said it’s still happening and believes the only reason it didn’t work the first time was because of the pandemic.

“It is. I’m still a big believer that the UK was going to work. The product was there, the interest level was there – the pandemic squashed it. For years, we couldn’t move people, we couldn’t bring people in, and it just shut it down.

“I still believe it’s there. I still believe in the expansion of what we’re doing. It’s about the opportunity for people. The opportunity in this industry, what we do, is few and far between outside of WWE, where you’re kind of just trying to do it on your own.”

NXT Europe has been in WWE’s plans for quite some time now. The company announced that the brand would be happening back in 2022. This was shortly after NXT UK shut its doors following a tough time dealing with the pandemic.

Despite knowing that it’s still happening, we are no closer to learning a timetable as to when this will take place.
