Will Ospreay‘s “Elevated” entrance theme is one of the most iconic themes in professional wrestling today. But another band recently stepped up to offer him a new theme.
All Elite Wrestling‘s Will Ospreay recently sat down with the Daily Star. When asked about what type of music he listens to nowadays, Ospreay revealed he’s actually listening to a bunch of country music right now.
“So honestly, I’ve been really into country music, right? Mate, it’s caught me by surprise,” Will Ospreay admitted. “Morgan Wallen, Chris Stapleton, Alabama, a bunch of country music these days. But other than that, nothing makes me happier in life than a bit of Purple Disco Machine. I think, honestly, that their beats their tunes always put me in a good mood. It just fills me with good memories.”
When asked if that means he could change up his entrance theme in the future, Ospreay said that’s not going to happen, but revealed that popular wrestling theme music artist Downstait recently offered to do a new theme for him. Luckily for fans of Elevated, Ospreay politely declined.
“No, Elevated rocks the house,” Will Ospreay said. “I got a story for you, actually. So like, I was on the Jericho Cruise, and the guys that sang Cody Rhodes’s song they approached me. Well, not them, like one dude in particular. I don’t even know if he’s actually part of the band, but he was drunk out of his mind. It was just like, if you ever need a theme song, let us know. We’re approachable. Wow ballsy! But like I’m good, mate. You do great stuff. Love your work. But I love Elevated too much.”
