Julia Hart may be preoccupied taking on Mina Shirakawa this week, but the former AEW TBS Champion cannot wait to run it back with Mercedes Mone.
During a recent appearance on the AEW Unrestricted podcast, Julia commented on her experience working with “The CEO” in the opening round of the women’s Owen Hart Cup tournament.
“She (Mercedes Mone) was so amazing,” Julia said. “I learned so much from her. I can’t wait to wrestle her again. After that I felt so excited about wrestling.” [H/T Fightful]
Mercedes went on to defeat Julia in their opening round contest before beating Athena at AEW Dynamite: Spring BreakThru on April 16, 2025. She’s scheduled to face Jamie Hart in the tournament final this Sunday at AEW Double or Nothing.
As for Julia, she’ll take on Mina Shirakawa in singles action tonight on Dynamite. AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm will be on commentary. Mina pinned Toni in their four-way eliminator to earn a shot at the world title for Double or Nothing.
