It appears a lot of AEW contracts were set to expire throughout 2025, including one of their top tag teams.
Former AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party haven’t been seen on television since dropping the titles to The Hurt Syndicate on the January 22 episode of Dynamite.
The duo isn’t injured and recently competed in a match at House of Glory back in March. Unfortunately, that loss might be the last we see of these AEW originals in the company for the foreseeable future.
According to Dave Meltzer in today’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Private Party’s AEW contracts are up “very soon.”
If the company allows Private Party’s contracts to expire, we anticipate there will be interest from multiple companies when the team enters free agency.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more on Private Party’s AEW status as it becomes available.
