Jacy Jayne is now Jacy Two-Belts. Mara Sade signs with TNA. Alex Windsor makes her AEW Collision debut. Joseline Navarro chats with WrestleZone and more!
Jacy Two-Belts
Thanks to interference from Blake Monroe, Jacy Jayne walked out of WWE Evolution with the NXT Women’s Championship still in her possession. Now coming out of TNA Slammiversary, she holds both the NXT Women’s and TNA Knockouts Championships.
At the July 20 event, Jayne faced Masha Slamovich in a Winner Takes All Match for the NXT Women’s and TNA Knockouts Championships. At one point, Slamovich appeared on the verge of victory when she nailed Jayne with a running knee. Before the referee could count a potential pinfall, however, Jayne’s Fatal Influence cohorts Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx hopped up on the apron as a distraction. This prompted the arrival of Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee, who leveled the odds for Slamovich by brawling with Henley and Nyx at ringside.
Back in the ring, Jayne accidentally knocked down the referee with a superkick, allowing Slamovich to drive her into the mat with a Snowplow in the midst of the confusion. Given the referee’s state, though, Slamovich was again unable to secure a pinfall. When a new referee entered the ring, Jayne kicked out and bounced back with a rolling elbow for the win.
With this victory over “The Russian Dynamite,” Jacy Jayne now reigns as the NXT Women’s and TNA Knockouts Champion. TNA President Carlos Silva presented her with both titles at Slammiversary, to which Jayne exclaimed, “This is my brand now!”
On TNA Impact, Slamovich demanded a rematch against Jayne, specifically for the Knockouts Championship. TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella later granted it, circling next Thursday on Impact as the time and place for it. As for Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship, her next challenger has yet to emerge.

Mara Sadè Signs With TNA
Last month, WrestleZone caught up with Mara Sadè (formerly known as Jakara Jackson), with the former WWE star noting her interest in potentially returning to TNA. Through WWE’s partnership with TNA, Sadè made a handful of appearances in the company, one of which saw her in a Knockouts Tag Team Championship match at TNA Rebellion.
“Most certainly [I’m interested in going back to TNA],” Sadè said. “I don’t want to put too much out there, but they’re most certainly a lot of things in the works,” she explained. “Don’t want to reveal until it’s time to, but I definitely have my eyes on TNA. I would love to go to Japan. Definitely wherever I can thrive, that’s where I want to be.”
On the latest episode of TNA Impact, Sadè indeed returned to TNA Wrestling, this time as the mystery tag team partner to the IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay). Together, Sadè, Lee, and McKay defeated The Elegance Brand (Ash By Elegance, Heather By Elegance & M By Elegance), courtesy of the Idolizer on Heather. Afterward, TNA revealed that Sadè as the official newest member of the Knockouts Division, having signed a contract alongside Tommy Dreamer, Ross Forman, and TNA President Carlos Silva.
Though fans initially saw her in tag team action, Sadè looks to carve a singles path for himself in TNA. I will accomplish anything and everything I want in TNA … because I check all the boxes,” she told TNA.
The finer details of Sadè’s TNA contract, such as its length, remain unknown at this time. The New Mexico native previously exited WWE in May as part of talent releases.

Alex Windsor Makes AEW Collision Debut
Last month, Alex Windsor announced herself as the newest AEW roster member, with her first task taking her to the Women’s Casino Gauntlet at AEW All In.
Though she lost the gauntlet to ROH Women’s Champion Athena, Windor quickly bounced back with a win on AEW Collision, which also marked her official debut on the television show. For this occasion, Windsor took on Taya Valkyrie and wiped her out with a side slam and a discus lariat. It was a Boston Crab that ultimately secured the win, though, as Valkyrie tapped out.

Before Windsor could celebrate, Athena interrupted from a balcony above, warning Windsor to get herself to the back as this was her time now. The UK native and “The Forever Champion” later met again on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, this time in more physical fashion.
As Athena teased cashing in her guaranteed contract on AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm, Windsor ran down to the ring and laid in a series of punches on her. Billie Starkz, Athena’s ally, then ate a clothesline and a headbutt from Windsor.
