The Young Bucks have been wrestling for multiple decades now and are starting to understand their own mortality.
All Elite Wrestling‘s Matt and Nick Jackson recently spoke with Justin Barrasso of Undisputed. When asked about what it felt like watching Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega wrestling each other again at All In: Texas, Matt called it a profoundly emotional moment for him.
“Watching them do the dance, possibly for the last time, was a reminder to me of my own career and my own mortality,” Matt Jackson said. “Seeing some of the guys around me that I traveled up and down the roads with now retiring, or moving on to different roles, and then watching two of the all-time greats put together what felt like an epilogue made me ask myself, where does the time go? That made me more profoundly emotional than I ever would’ve imagined.”
Kenny Omega will return to the ring this weekend at AEW Forbidden Door.
WrestleZone will have live coverage of Forbidden Door later this month.
