The Phenomenal One signed with WWE in 2016, making his in-ring debut for the company at the Royal Rumble PLE. He had a series of high-profile feuds against the likes of Chris Jericho and Roman Reigns before taking SmackDown by storm, capturing the WWE Championship at Backlash in September.
AJ Styles’ most recent program saw him fail to capture the Intercontinental Championship in back-to-back losses against Dominik Mysterio. Outside the ring, Styles caught fans off-guard with a cryptic message, implying retirement from active competition. He has previously expressed his intention to wrap up his legendary career in WWE.
AJ Styles’ Son Reacts to Post Calling Out Triple H’s Booking of His Father
A fan recently took to social media to express their disappointment over WWE’s creative direction for AJ Styles, prompting a response from the wrestler’s son, Ajay, who voiced his displeasure over how his father is being booked on television.
“The way HHH is disrespecting AJ is legit pi*sing me off,” the fan wrote. “You ain’t the only one man,” Ajay responded.
Styles got one of the loudest reactions during WWE’s recent tour of Europe. This comes as no surprise given his iconic status. It remains to be seen if fan discourse online will affect Triple H’s booking of AJ Styles for the better.
