Booker T weighs in on what social media has done for the professional wrestling business.
WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently sat down with Esports Insider. When asked if social media is hurting or helping the art of wrestling, Booker T believes there have been more negatives than positives.
“I think it’s more negative than positive,” Booker T said. “Because everybody has an opinion on your career and what you do at every moment. You can’t make a mistake, because they’re gonna call you out and they’re gonna belittle you and make you feel like you’re nothing.
“So I think that’s the true negative part of it. But I think the positive is, you’re gonna be seen by so many more people. If you’re good, somebody’s gonna give you a call and bring you in. No matter how many mistakes you make, it doesn’t matter if somebody gets signed at the end of the day.”
