Former AEW Star Wants to Return to TNA

Former AEW star Kiera Hogan is ready to return to the ring after being away from wrestling for more than a year. She recently revealed that she is accepting independent bookings again and hopes to make a return to TNA.

Hogan hasn’t wrestled since April 2025, when she teamed with longtime partner Tasha Steelz at an ASÉ event. The long break was something she had never experienced before, but she said it helped her reconnect with her love for wrestling.

Speaking on the Hitting The Turnbuckle Podcast, Hogan said she would love to begin the next chapter of her career back in TNA.

TNA’s familiar faces continue to pull Kiera Hogan back

Looking back, Kiera Hogan explained that it was the first major break in her 11-year career. At first, it felt strange to step away, but it also gave her time to watch wrestling from a different perspective and remember why she fell in love with it.

She admitted that before taking time off, she had started feeling stuck and wasn’t enjoying wrestling the way she once did. Now, after spending time away, she says she misses it more than ever and is excited to get back in the ring.

That excitement has also made her think about TNA, where she enjoyed some of the best years of her career between 2017 and 2021.

During that time, Hogan and Tasha Steelz formed the popular tag team Fire ‘N Flava. Together, they won the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship twice and became one of the division’s top teams.

Hogan said fans still ask both her and Steelz about bringing Fire ‘N Flava back together. She also mentioned that Steelz still talks about Fire ‘N Flava during her commentary work in TNA. Hearing those references makes Hogan believe a reunion could still happen one day.

“I know she still talks about Fire ‘N Flava. I’ve heard her mention me on commentary or mention our tag team on commentary still at TNA so, I’m always hopeful that, you know, maybe, one day we’ll reunite and actually do it for real this time with the fans so they can actually be involved,” Hogan said.

More than anything, Hogan said she misses being part of the TNA family.

“I just miss it. I miss wrestling for TNA. I miss working with my really close friends, like Tasha and Alisha Edwards is one of my really close friends. Gia Miller is one of my close friends. I just miss working with people that I love. Rosemary, Allie, me and Allie go way back. We used to be on the road. I miss TNA with all my heart and they will always have my heart. That will always be home for me,” Hogan added.

When asked about a possible return, the interviewer suggested that TNA President Carlos Silva should bring her back. Hogan didn’t hesitate. “I do, so make it happen. My line is always open,” she said.

Hogan also explained why she decided to leave TNA in 2021, even though the company wanted to keep her.

“I’d been with TNA for four years, five years. I had grown a lot with TNA. I could have stayed and just flourished from there but I was just curious to see if this was it. I was just a curious person. I’ve always been curious. I wanna see what other challenges are out there,” Hogan said.

That decision eventually led her to AEW, where she competed from 2021 until 2025.
