WWE Hall of Famer Says Chelsea Green Makes The Most Of Every Second She’s On TV

One of the veterans of the professional wrestling business is WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson. Wilson was part of the Stamford-based promotion from the late 1990s to the mid-2000s. She was frequently featured on WWE TV during the infamous Divas Era. Wilson had also made appearances during the late 2010s. She has competed in first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2018. She also competed in a battle royal at the first ever all women’s Premium Live Event, Evolution.

Recently, Torrie Wilson was interviewed by Ariel Helwani on his show. During the interview, Wilson shared that she loves going to WWE now. She had high praise for all the current women on the roster. She also shared that seeing the amount of talent in the women’s roster now, she cannot compete with them.

“[Personally], I love going [to WWE] now. I love all the women…everyone’s more welcoming. Just the thought of trying to claw my way into a position on TV? No, thank you. There’s so many amazing women that are so gifted and so talented…I could never compete with that.” [H/T Wrestling Inc.]

Wilson then went on to praise inaugural WWE Women’s United States champion, Chelsea Green.

“Some people do it so well. Chelsea Green, I love her. I love her character. She is just the epitome of someone who can kill it in the ring when she’s a wrestler and then also kill it [as a valet],” Wilson said. “Literally, she makes the most of every second she gets on TV, and she is the epitome of somebody that would be just a great valet,” Torrie Wilson said. Special effects makeup artist Jason Baker recently praised Green and proclaimed that her work will only become more appreciated as time progresses.

“I say it all the time. In ten years, people will go back and study Chelsea Green’s tapes. I don’t think the audience realizes the genius that is Chelsea Green right now,” Baker said. “I think she’s so far ahead of the curve that people are going to go back and look at her and be like, ‘This was so much more than we realized what she was doing.’”

Baker also revealed the hidden contribution he made to one of Chelsea Green’s WWE costumes this year.
