JBL has chimed in on the overwhelming amount of negative reviews coming out of WWE Wrestlepalooza this weekend.
On the latest episode of Something To Wrestle, WWE Hall of Famer JBL spoke about the company’s debut on ESPN with Wrestlepalooza and the negative reviews surrounding it from ESPN to countless other outlets. Layfield compared the negativity to the book Dracula, of all things, in a wild attempt at defense for WWE.
“I saw some negative stuff out there. I think people love to be negative,” JBL said. “Dracula is the most sold book behind the Bible, and reviews when it came out were horrible. So I think reviewers have always been negative. You sound smart when you’re negative, you don’t sound smart when you’re positive. I think it’s a terrific start for WWE, I think it’s gonna be huge.” [H/T: WrestlingNews.co]
