Tony Khan is open to exploring more international opportunities for AEW.
All Elite Wrestling has expanded into several international markets, including the UK and Australia, despite being in business for only six years. The promotion drew over 45,000 fans for All In: London in 2024, marking the event as a major success.
During a recent interview with amNewYork, Tony Khan discussed AEW’s international expansion plans. He highlighted the promotion’s success in the UK market and expressed excitement about bringing AEW to Manchester for the first time this year.
“We built a lot,” he explained. “It’s been six years of AEW, and again, it feels like we started just yesterday. I’m very interested in taking AEW and visiting more of Europe. I think there are more opportunities there. We’ve had great shows in the UK, particularly with shows in London. We’ve set records at Wembley Stadium, and we’ve had great events in Cardiff, Wales. And I’m really excited about this year taking AEW to Manchester for the first time. I think there’s more opportunities there internationally, for AEW…I think that’s very attractive, just international expansion.”
