Bully Ray wants to see a major wrestling promotion in the United States create a dedicated mixed tag team division, complete with its own titles.
WWE and AEW, the two major wrestling promotions, have more than two dozen championships across their men’s and women’s rosters. That said, both promotions lack an established mixed tag team division, let alone mixed tag team championships.
Taking to social media, Bully Ray suggested the creation of a mixed tag team division with championships. The former tag team specialist didn’t name a company but said he’d love to see a major promotion take the initiative and run with it.
“I’ve been saying it for years. Would love to see a major wrestling Co. in the US have a dedicated Mixed Tag Division w/ Championships. As opposed to these other Championships that are either not clearly defined or inconsequential,” he wrote.

Bully also took the opportunity to praise Chelsea Green and Ethan Page’s run as the AAA Mixed Tag Champions.
“That being said…I think @OfficialEGO and @ImChelseaGreen are doing a highly entertaining job as the AAA Mixed Tag Champs.”
For those unaware, Green and Page defeated Mr. Iguana and La Hiedra for the titles at AAA Alianzas earlier this month. Catch up on everything that happened during their victory celebration on WWE NXT here.
