Cena accepts, but he told the people he would have a match on his last night on Raw. So, since Dominik is in the ring, they should fight tonight, just for the graps. The Judgement Day‘s music hits. Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh join Dominik in the ring. Cena gets ready for a fight. The Judgement Day attacks Cena. Sheamus hits the ring and tries to make the save. Sheamus ended up getting stomped out. Rey Mysterio joins the fight and helps Cena and Sheamus clear the ring. Cena challenges The Judgement Day to a six-man tag.
Grade: B
Good way to open the show. Cena’s delivers fine speeches each week, but that gets old. They got right to the sports entertainment of it all. The six-man tag match is a cheap way to get a bunch of folks in a match, but let’s be real: they need to limit Cena’s singles matches to make sure he makes it to his final match at SNME.
John Cena, Sheamus, and Rey Mysterio vs. The Judgement Day
The Judgement Day contingent takes turns working over Sheamus. After the break, Mysterio sends Bálor flying into McDonagh, giving him an accidental headbutt below the belt. Cena gets the tag and goes all five moves of doom on McDonagh. McDonagh lands on his feet to avoid the AA. Headbutt by McDonagh. Everyone lands a big move. McDonagh lands a moonsault on Cena, followed by the double stomp by Bálor, then Dominik’s Frog Splash!
All of The Judgement Day covers Cena. Mysterio and Sheamus break up the pin. McDonagh pulls Dominik out of the ring to avoid a 619 from Mysterio. Sheamus, Cena, and Mysterio land stereo 10 beats of the Bohdren. Cena and Co. all land five knuckle shuffles. Mysterio lands a double 619 to Bálor and McDonagh. Sheamus Brogue Kicks Bálor, and Cena gets the pin with an AA.
Winners- John Cena, Sheamus, and Rey Mysterio
Grade: B
This was such a fun right. Cena basically had a house show main event on a live Raw in Madison Square Garden. Talk about having stroke.
La Primera
As Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer makes her entrance to discuss Nikki Bella‘s attack last week, Bella attacks Vaquer on the stage. Bella grabs a mic and says… stuff. She wants what’s hers: this division and the championship. Bella says Vaquer will give her a match for the title, and Vaquer will bow down to her.
Grade: C+
This was just fine; it’s just laughable that Bella could ever get one up on Vaquer. Not sure that Vaquer’s first feud should be against someone no one believes can beat her. Odd choice.
Last Time Is Now Tournament (First Round match): Solo Sikoa vs. A Mystery Opponent Dolph Ziggler!!!!!

Sikoa bounces off the ropes and almost decapitates Ziggler with a nasty Samoan Spike for the win.
Winner- Solo Sikoa
Grade: B+
Any match that has Ziggler in it immediately gets a grade bump. Ziggler showing up was great, even though we all knew he wouldn’t win here. It would have been nice, but Ziggler, as always, made Sikoa look like a killer out there. Ziggler is one of the best at this game, and it would be nice to see him on both TNA TV and WWE.
Blissful WarGames?
Alexa Bliss says her partner, Charlotte Flair, hasn’t answered any of her calls all week. The crowd keeps “what-ing” Bliss, but Bliss is powering through. Bliss got her a$$ beat last week because Flair doesn’t like Rhea Ripley. Bliss gives an impassioned plea to get Flair to step up. Asuka, Kairi Sane, Lash Legend, and Nia Jax walk to the ring and dump on Bliss for being alone.
Ripley and IYO SKY run to the ring and stand with Bliss. Bliss and her teammates are quickly beaten into the ground. Lash Legend obliterates Bliss with a right hand. Flair hits the ring with a kendo stick and beats the hell out of Legend and Jax with it. Flair clears the ring. Bliss looks shocked. Flair helps Bliss up, and they hug. Ripley and SKY hilariously hug as well. Flair can’t help but chuckle.
Grade: B-
Bliss still has it on the mic. Bliss did a great job of navigating the crowd, trying to hijack the segment. The brawl was fun, and Legend, once again, looked like the most impressive person out there. Not just with her nasty offense, but her willingness to let Flair beat her like she stole something with a kendo stick. That was gnarly.
Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Maxxine Dupri
As soon as the bell rings, Dupri lands a big boot and gets a long two count. Dupri goes up top. Lynch slams Dupri off the top and works over her arm. Lee skips to ringside. Lynch turns around and walks into a crossbody from Dupri! Dupri wins! Dupri wins!
Winner and NEW Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Maxxine Dupri!
Grade: B
Lynch and Dupri built this match up perfectly, with several nail-biting nearfalls, and some close calls with a few submission holds. It’s amusing that in 2025, a title changed hands after a top-rope crossbody. This writer loved it. Having AJ Lee make an appearance was a nice touch, and added to this shocking title win. Yes, we are quite sports-entertained.
Last Time Is Now Tournament (First Round match): Gunther vs. Je’Von Evans
Evans lands a few leg kicks. Gunther works an armbar. Dropkick by Evans. Gunther sets Evans on the apron. Gunther pats Evans on the head. Evans slaps Gunther. Gunther misses several chops. Big boot by Gunther.

Rear naked choke by Gunther. Evans fights, but eventually taps out.
Winner- Gunther
Grade: A
This is pro wrestling. Gunther is the perfect monster, and Evans is the perfect underdog baby face. Gunther gave Evans just enough to make Evans in a loss. Give Evans all the title now.
A Vision of WarGames
Paul Heyman, Logan Paul, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker walk to the ring. Drew McIntyre joins his team in the ring. Heyman puts over his team as the greatest assembly of talent ever put together for WarGames. Cult of Personality blares through the arena as Punk, with his fist taped, slowly walks to the ring. The Usos soon come through the crowd and join Punk. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is out last. A huge brawl breaks out. Punk and Paul are left in the ring. Punk drops Paul with a bulldog and calls for the GTS. Brock Lesnar’s music hits, and Lesnar stomps to the ring. Punk jumps on Lesnar before he can get into the ring.
Lesnar suplexed Punk all over the ring. Rhodes rolls in and gets German suplexes into oblivion. Lesnar and Heyman high-five… Then Roman Reigns’ music hits! Lesnar looks surprised. Reigns walks to the ring. Lesnar and Reigns have a staredown. Lesnar charges in and eats a Superman punch. Security hits the ring and holds Reigns back. Reed attacks Reigns from behind. Reed goes up top. Reigns Superman Punches Reed off the top. The NYPD are out with security trying to break this brawl up. Regins Spears Reed and a cop through the barricade.
Grade: A
What a brawl. This thing had nutty action and several surprises. The look on Punk’s face when Lesnar’s music hit was only outdone by the look on Lesnar’s face when Reigns’ music hit. The addition of the NYPD in lieu of just security was a genius touch. Adds a level of realism we usually don’t see on WWE TV these days.
WWE Raw Review:
This was one of the best episodes of Raw in a long while. Good in-ring action. No overly verbose in-ring segments, and when there were in-ring segments, they were actually entertaining. So many surprises (Ziggler, Lesnar, Reigns, AJ Lee) and even a surprise title change, with Lynch putting over Dupri yet against. So much for that Becky Hogan stuff, eh? Survivor Series WarGames is shaping up to be an exciting card. What do you think? Let us know in the comments!
