Bayley Got In Trouble For Drawing Gang Signs In Elementary School

Bayley recalls getting in trouble for accidentally drawing a gang sign to cover up something else.

During a recent appearance on The Nikki & Brie Show, former WWE Women’s Champion Bayley took part in an “I once got in trouble for” segment with host Nikki Bella.

The Role Model recalled an incident from her elementary school days when she got in trouble for accidentally drawing a gang sign on a piece of paper. Bayley says she didn’t know it was a gang sign, but it was actually supposed to be a cover-up for writing a swear word first.

“I once got in trouble for drawing a gang sign on my paper in fourth grade because I didn’t know it was a gang sign,” Bayley said. “But actually, I got caught for drawing on a piece of paper. My teacher asked to see it, and I quickly drew the gang sign because the other piece of paper had the F-word on it. I gave it to her, thinking, ‘Oh, she’ll just think I’m drawing.’

“Then I ended up having a whole meeting with the principal, and they thought I was in a gang — and I was in fourth grade,” Bayley added.

The “gang sign” turned out to be the Stussy S, or the ‘cool S,’ as Nikki Bella explained later in the interview. The former WWE Divas Champion said she used to draw the Cool S sign “all the time on my binders and stuff.”
