It’s the Christmas season, and for those who might be unaware, a current AEW star made a cameo in one of the most iconic holiday movies of the 1990s.
For those who might not have seen it, Paul Wight (formerly known as The Big Show) made a brief cameo in 1996’s Jingle All the Way. The movie tells the story of a dad (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) trying to find a sold-out toy for his son before Christmas.
Along the way, he develops a feud with a mailman (Sinbad) that leads to chaotic adventures. Wight’s role in the movie comes about midway through. After Schwarzenegger’s character thinks he has found the toy, he is taken to a factory where a ton of Santas are building fake toys.
The Santas, who run a fake toy business, are called out, and a brawl ensues. That’s when one particularly large and muscular Santa, played by Wight, appears. Schwarzenegger tries to hit him with a candy cane and a punch. Nothing works, though, and an all-out brawl soon takes place.
Wight’s scene is just one of several hilarious moments in the movie. Alongside the trio, Jingle All the Way also stars the late Phil Hartman, Rita Wilson, Robert Conrad, and James Belushi.
