Maxxine Dupri recently had some high praise for two other superstars, who she credits with changing her entire career.
In a recent interview with Wrestling Classic (via Fightful), Dupri opened up about Natalya and TJ Wilson, two stars whom she says she owes a lot to. According to Dupri, the pair helped “change the trajectory” of her career, and it comes from the work that she does in the Dungeon, Natalya and Wilson’s training facility.
“They have hands down changed the trajectory of my career, I think so much of this past year, and everyone saying ‘Maxxine has improved a lot, we’re seeing this new side,’ it’s truly what we do in the Dungeon!” said Dupri. “It’s the way they push me to my limits in there- when I say push me to my limits, I mean I’m like ‘can I drive my car home?’ Pressure makes diamonds, right? They have to break you to make you, and that is what happens in the Dungeon.”
Dupri also briefly spoke about her history with Chad Gable, whom she also praised as having learned a lot from. Dupri’s rise in WWE has been a big one, as the star has recently been elevated in WWE’s roster. In 2025, she became the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, beating Becky Lynch to capture her first title.
