WWE’s CM Punk Teams With Charity To Honor Memory Of His Dog Larry

WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk is teaming with a local charity to honor the memory of his beloved dog Larry.

Today, PAWS Chicago has announced its 2026 “Slice to Meet You” campaign, which aims to raise funds for Chicago’s homeless dogs and cats. For this campaign, PAWS Chicago, the Midwest’s largest no-kill humane organization, has teamed up with Piece Pizzeria and a group of celebrity chefs.

Slice to Meet You will span three months, offering fans a different pizza each month, beginning with a pizza crafted by CM Punk in memory of his PAWS dog Larry, who sadly died last month. “The Larry,” dropping today, is topped with Ezzo’s Cup & Char pepperoni and Hot Doug’s smoked sausage.

“Adopting Larry through PAWS Chicago was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made,” Punk said in a press release. “This campaign is a way to honor his memory while giving other dogs and cats the same opportunity to find a loving home. If a slice of pizza can help save lives, that’s something I’m proud to be part of.”

More Information

Each month’s exclusive pizza sells for $35, with additional donations coming from Piece Pizza and six matching donors. In total, each pizza will raise $70 toward the “Slice to Meet You” campaign. Since its launch in 2023, the campaign has raised over $190,000 for the area’s pets in need. This year’s donors include Joe Mansueto, Piece Pizzeria, Bill Jacobs, Sean & Alison Fogarty, Laura Desmond, Leonard Goodman, and Kristin MacGregor.

Following the release of “The Larry,” the fundraiser will feature other limited-edition menu items available through collaboration with The Wieners Circle (February 8) and Rick Bayless (March 9). All delivered pizzas come attached with a flyer featuring information on adoptable dogs and cats.

“Slice to Meet You shows what’s possible when creativity and community unite for animals in need,” said Jill Siar, Assistant Director of Community Partnerships for PAWS Chicago. “By pairing beloved local partners and well-known supporters with our lifesaving mission, this campaign generates critical funding while introducing more animals to potential adopters—honoring stories like Larry’s that remind us adoption changes lives, for pets and the people who love them.”
