Relationship With WWE Talent Has Negatively Affected Indie Wrestler’s Career

An independent wrestler is venting his frustrations that being the brother of a WWE talent has negatively impacted his career.

Sam Adonis has been working as a professional wrestler since 2008. Appearing in multiple companies such as AAA, TNA, CMLL, MLW, and several others. But has yet to get a real opportunity to do something with WWE. The same company where his brother Corey Graves does commentary for the company.

Adonis had competed for AAA quite frequently in recent years, but hasn’t appeared for the company since WWE acquired it last year.

In clear frustration, Sam Adonis took to social media today to vent his feelings on how he believes being Corey Graves’ brother has negatively affected his career, tweeting out:

“NOTHING has negatively affected my career more than being “Corey’s Brother.” Few wrestlers have accumulated the diverse knowledge and experience I have worldwide aside from drawing actual money. Still, to so many I’ve been reduced to nothing more than“Corey’s brother’s in Mexico,” Sam Adonis said in a post.

As of this writing, Corey Graves has yet to publicly respond to his brother’s post.
