AEW’s Ricochet Could Rock A Pretty Mean Skullet If He Had To

Ricochet thinks he could rock a pretty mean skullet.

AEW National Champion Ricochet has been wrestling bald for as long as this writer can remember. He even earned the nickname “Baldie” not long after arriving in All Elite Wrestling. Getting his head slapped has also become a favorite spot for his opponents during matches.

Speaking of hair, Ricochet was recently asked for his take on Tommaso Ciampa’s unique challenge, where the loser had to grow out their hair. Here’s what the AEW National Champion told Mark Hoke on his podcast:

“I mean, I feel like I could rock a pretty mean skullet, but it wouldn’t be me growing my hair out, that’s for sure. I’d still be, you know, bald as the day is old. But I wonder what Tommaso would look like with some hair. You know what I’m saying?

“We’ve had history in the past, he and I. We’ve been in matches before all over. I don’t think we’ve ever actually had a singles match. So that would definitely be something that I think people would want to see.

“But again, maybe he can get the Carlos booster where he painted his hair on that one time.”

Tommaso Ciampa wants to have a ‘Hair vs. Hair’ match with Ricochet

Tommaso Ciampa appeared on SHAK Wrestling soon after successfully challenging Mark Briscoe for the TNT Championship.

During the interview, Ciampa reflected on his history with Ricochet, noting they’ve never had a singles match against each other before laying down a hilarious challenge for the AEW National Champion.

“I’ve never had a singles match with Ricochet, ever. That’s dating all the way back to our independent days. So, a Hair versus Hair match is something I’d be very interested in doing. The crowd would go crazy, right? Who’s gonna win? Who’s gonna lose? And what’s at stake here? So, I think the loser has to grow out their hair.” [H/T Fightful]

Ricochet is scheduled to defend the National Championship against Jack Perry later tonight on AEW Dynamite. WrestleZone will provide live coverage of the show at 8 p.m. EST.
