Chelsea Green reacts to praise from The Undertaker.
Following Michael Hayes’ comments about WWE not intending to make Chelsea Green a top star, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker stepped up in Green’s defense. He asserted that while “underutilized,” Green does have the capabilities to be a top star in WWE as she possesses the “it” factor. According to Undertaker, she might just need “a hair more mean streak” to do so.
Taking notice of The Undertaker’s compliment, Green shared the cover of a special edition of the “Chelsea Chronicle,” which captured a still of The Undertaker talking with WWE producer Michael Hayes on Six Feet Under.
“Underutilized President appoints The Undertaker as Secretary of Dark Affairs as tensions rise amid Unreal controversy,” read the headline. Per it, The Undertaker is also the number one “Patrihot.”
Last month, chatter about Green’s positioning in WWE erupted after Michael Hayes specifically claimed (on WWE Unreal) that the former Women’s United States Champion was meant to elevate the talents around her, not be a top star. Hayes later clarified that Netflix, which aired WWE Unreal, cut out his lines of praise for Green. Nevertheless, Hayes doubled down on his stance that made air, citing the fact that Green remains in the same position both then and now.
As it stands, Green is unable to compete as she is dealing with an ankle injury. Still, she continues to appear on WWE SmackDown programming with Alba Fyre as her loyal Secret Service member.
