When people talk about the biggest stars in WWE’s women’s division, Mami is always on top. With all those dominant title reigns and edgy persona, Rhea Ripley has grown into one of WWE’s most popular and marketable stars. But when it comes to Elimination Chamber, it seems like WWE has not used her to her full potential.
For someone presented as a top star, her history in that match is very short.
Rhea Ripley’s Elimination Chamber Record Lacks A Defining Moment
1) Only One Elimination Chamber Match
So far, Ripley has competed in just one Elimination Chamber match. That was the 2022 Women’s Elimination Chamber match. In that bout, Bianca Belair defeated Alexa Bliss, Doudrop, Liv Morgan, Nikki A.S.H., and Ripley to earn a Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 38.
That’s her only appearance.
Considering how big the Elimination Chamber event usually is, especially as a major stop on the road to WrestleMania, it’s surprising that Ripley has only been in it once.
2) Just One Elimination
Her stats in that match are also limited.
Ripley entered as the fourth competitor in the 2022 Chamber. The match started with Nikki A.S.H. and Liv Morgan. Ripley managed to eliminate Nikki A.S.H., and that’s her only elimination in Chamber history.
For a wrestler known for her strength and dominant style, that feels low. In other matches, Ripley is often shown as unstoppable. But inside the Chamber, her record doesn’t really show that same dominance.
3) No Big Chamber Moment Yet
Another thing missing is a defining moment.
Ripley hasn’t had a long run where she lasts nearly the whole match. She hasn’t broken elimination records. She hasn’t won a Chamber match to launch herself into WrestleMania with huge momentum. There isn’t one iconic Chamber highlight that people instantly connect to her name.
Other top stars have had career-changing moments in this match type. But despite her star power, Ripley hasn’t gotten that kind of spotlight inside the steel structure.
The Elimination Chamber seems perfect for her intense and physical style of wrestling. This year, she has gotten a chance to capitalize on it as she faces Tiffany Stratton, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Kiana James, and Raquel Rodriguez on February 28.
The winner will face WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 42.
