Meghan Walker says she’s your new reason to watch WWE. She hasn’t actually been on TV yet, and some fans have a problem with that.
Walker, a former University of Nebraska track star, was announced as a member of the June 2025 WWE NIL recruit class. Walker was briefly shown backstage on a January episode of WWE NXT. Despite that, she has not made her televised in-ring debut yet.
Despite that, she’s maintained a presence on social media by teasing her debut and posting “thirst trap” photos and videos. The latter apparently upsets some fans, who criticized her latest post by asking if she’s going to cut down on the posts and start to wrestle.
Meghan Walker’s social media posts got a mixed response from fans
“You gonna keep posting this or are you going to actually wrestle?” one fan wrote.
“Can you run the ropes and take a bump then?” wrote another.
“Let’s see you wrestle a match first these thirst traps are getting tired diva.” added another.
It’s worth noting that Walker is less than a year into her WWE career. She is actively training at the Performance Center. It’s understandable to want to see her on TV. However, it’s not uncommon for rookies and NIL athletes to spend time wrestling non-televised training matches until they’re ready for TV and live events.
Many fans also stepped in to defend Walker, pointing out how she’s new and not harming anyone with her social media content.
“This woman literally got signed in November and y’all are already being such losers in her replies and quotes saying, “show us a wrestling move” and shit,” @WhoisVindictive wrote on Twitter/X. “STFU and let her get over however she wants. She’s literally not doing anything to anybody. TF.”
“Obsessed wrestling goof balls are just weirdos ? this girl is [d]oing absolutely nothing to generate these mean spirited responses . Jeez ? Get a damn life and let this girl do her thing,” wrote another.
