Major League Wrestling has reportedly scooped up a free agent.
As of April 1, Lady Frost‘s contract with All Elite Wrestling was no more as it officially expired, meaning she’d be a free agent. According to a new report, though, that free agent status didn’t stay intact very long.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that Frost has inked a brand new contract for Major League Wrestling, with the promotion said to have expressed “immediate interest” in signing her. As of this writing, the length of Frost’s deal is unknown, though Fightful indicates that MLW officials were “very excited” to finalize it.
Frost will reportedly appear at a number of upcoming tapings for MLW. Which exact ones has yet to be announced.
Lady Frost also commented on her status, writing the following on Twitter/X:
“Not a free agent anymore. That didn’t take long. ?”
Frost, a former talent in AEW, ROH, and TNA, confirmed her free agency in a statement on Wednesday morning.
“As of today, I am a free agent. I want to thank @TonyKhan for being an incredibly kind and passionate boss. I had some of the most incredible moments with @AEW,” Frost wrote. “[I’m] so grateful for the years that I spent there. For now, I’m on the hunt. Onto the next…”
The “Ice Cold Killer” last wrestled under the AEW banner on the January 10 edition of Collision. There, she fell short to Mina Shirakawa in singles competition. On the indie circuit, Frost bounced back with a win over Dani Mo at Greektown Pro Wrestling in February.
