This former WWE star walked away with a surprising jackpot during WrestleMania 42 weekend.
Sareee, who had a brief stint in WWE NXT, hit a one million yen jackpot on a slot machine at a Las Vegas airport.
The former IWGP Women’s Champion worked a match in the United States during WrestleMania week. She appeared at the Marvelous show in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 16.
On April 19, Sareee arrived at the Las Vegas airport for her flight back to Japan. However, she decided to try her luck on a slot machine while waiting to depart.
To her surprise, she kept hitting wins, earning the equivalent of about one million yen ($6,347).
Sareee had previously stunned those around her with her luck at a horse racing event, where she also landed a major win based on her prediction.
Sareee signed with WWE in 2020, but COVID-19 delayed her move to the United States. She made her NXT in-ring debut as Sarray against Zoey Stark on April 20, 2021. NXT later repackaged her, this time giving her a medallion and an anime-inspired character.
Sareee wrestled her final WWE NXT match against then-champion Mandy Rose. She confirmed her departure from the company on March 13, 2023, citing creative differences and concerns over the direction of her career.
