Charlotte Flair Hilariously Reacts to Wardrobe Malfunction on WWE SmackDown

Charlotte Flair was feeling a bit cheeky with her response to an unintended wardrobe malfunction on SmackDown.

Flair and Alexa Bliss faced off with B-Fab and Michin on the May 15 episode of SmackDown. During the match, B-Fab rolled her up for a pin attempt and pulled her tights.

B-Fab pulled the tights too far, as part of Charlotte Flair’s butt was exposed before she could kick out. Flair had a good laugh about it after the match, posting the following message on Instagram, along with a cleverly censored image of the incident:

“@Briana_brandy mam… you could’ve just asked,” Flair wrote on her Instagram Stories.

Despite the mishap, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss went on to defeat Michin and B-Fab.

Pro wrestling sees wardrobe malfunctions more often than you’d think

Wardrobe malfunctions aren’t exactly rare in pro wrestling, as they sometimes happen at inopportune moments.

Flair’s partner, Bliss, was involved in one back in October when Lyra Valkyria’s hair got caught in her shirt. Bliss did some quick thinking and removed her top, continuing to wrestle in the shirt that was underneath.

More recently, both Kiana James and Raquel Rodriguez both had wardrobe malfunctions in the 2026 Elimination Chamber match. It’s not just limited to the women, either, as El Grande Americano had one on a March episode of WWE RAW.

On the other hand, some wardrobe malfunctions have actually been spun into storyline ideas in various pro wrestling companies. WWE ran one in 2016 where Eva Marie’s top opened up, allowing her to run off and get out of a match with Becky Lynch. Earlier this month, AEW did a backstage angle where Mina Shirakawa ripped open Harley Cameron’s top and exposed her bra. Shirakawa tried to say that she thought Cameron’s wrestling attire was underneath, and Cameron later had a good laugh about the fan criticism over the angle.
