Charlotte Flair is a legend in the world of WWE, and believes another WWE star is on that trajectory to becoming a main event type of talent.
During a recent appearance on ESPN’s First Take, Flair was asked if she’s had her eyes on any talent in the company. Flair was quick to point to Kiana James, who has been rising through the ranks at NXT.
“For me, definitely Kiana James,” said Flair. “I met her at the PC when I was out with my knee injury, and she had a knee injury as well. She was only on the roster for about a month. Before she got injured, she’s been back now for almost a year, and I think she has the potential to be a main event player. She’s aggressive. She’s athletic. She’s powerful. She makes me want to step my game up, and she’s very young, and she’s soaking up every moment that she can. So look out for Kiana James.”
James joined WWE in 2022, and is a former one-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion along with Fallon Henley. As Flair mentioned, James was hurt during a match in 2024, but returned in 2025, and has been competing in WWE ever since. She recently appeared in the Elimination Chamber earlier this year.
