Ludwig Kaiser may still be dealing with an active legal case in Florida, but a new report suggests WWE has no current plans to take disciplinary action against the RAW star as questions continue swirling around the situation.
The former Imperium member, who has recently been portraying El Grande Americano in both WWE and AAA, was arrested last week on a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from an alleged April incident at his Orlando apartment complex.
Despite the controversy, it appears the company is proceeding with business as usual for now.
According to False Finish, WWE is not expected to punish Kaiser internally over the arrest. The report surfaced just days before his scheduled Mask vs. Mask match against Chad Gable at AAA Noche de Los Grandes on May 30 in Monterrey.

The alleged incident reportedly began after another resident commented on Kaiser and a female companion being intimate inside an elevator.
Police documents later claimed the confrontation escalated physically outside the elevator, leading to allegations that Kaiser punched and threatened the man.
Dave Meltzer addressed the situation on Wrestling Observer Radio and noted, “There is footage of what happened, so the idea that nothing happened — that is not the case.” Meltzer added that police identified Kaiser, whose real name is Marcel Barthel, through surveillance footage before issuing a warrant.
At the same time, reports and online speculation surrounding alleged ICE-related comments have complicated public reaction to the case. Meltzer said, “It is interesting how the usage of that ‘ICE’ thing, they managed to turn him babyface to many, many people (via ITR Wrestling).”
Kaiser turned himself in after learning about the warrant while in Mexico and later pleaded not guilty. His legal team successfully requested permission for him to continue traveling internationally for work, allowing him to appear at AAA’s rescheduled Serenata Para event in Mexico City.
For now, WWE appears ready to let the legal process play out while Kaiser continues performing under the El Grande Americano mask. The situation remains active, but the company’s current stance suggests the storyline won’t be getting future endeavored anytime soon.
