A new motion has been filed in Ludwig Kaiser’s legal case as the WWE star prepares for a pre-trial conference next month.
WWE Superstar Ludwig Kaiser (real name Marcel Barthel) was arrested in Orange County, Florida, on May 20, 2026, on charges of battery against a male in his apartment complex. The court recently allowed Kaiser’s international travel request, following which he competed in the Mask vs. Mask match as El Grande Americano at AAA Noche de Los Grandes.
Details also emerged about Gunther posting Kaiser’s bail, and a story claiming he attacked the person after he directed ICE comments at the star’s girlfriend, Andrea Bazarte.
In the latest development, the defense filed a motion on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, requesting the court to authorize a subpoena for surveillance footage from the Paramount on Lake Eola apartment complex, where the alleged battery incident involving Ludwig Kaiser took place. The defense had contacted the apartment complex regarding the footage, but was told it can’t be released without a subpoena.
