Backstage Update On QT Marshall After AEW Double Or Nothing Injury Scare

A scary moment during AEW Double or Nothing had everyone worried about QT Marshall, but the latest injury update sounds much more positive.

Marshall was part of a 10-man tag team match, teaming with Big Boom AJ, Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, and Roderick Strong against Shane Taylor Promotions, which included Anthony Ogogo, Carlie Bravo, Lee Moriarty, Shane Taylor, and Shawn Dean.

The injury moment happened when Marshall went to the top rope for a move. The ropes appeared to be slippery after Vita Coco Water had been splashed around during the match. As he tried to steady himself, he lost balance and crashed hard to the floor outside the ring.

The landing looked painful, and Marshall was seen grabbing his knee afterward. He struggled to put weight on the leg while officials and medical staff helped him backstage.

He also missed the post-match segment, which made many fans think the injury could be serious. Thankfully, the latest update sounds much better.

QT Marshall Expected To Avoid Missing Time After Double Or Nothing Fall

According to Fightful Select, Marshall is not expected to miss any upcoming appearances.

“Fightful Select spoke to backstage and around AEW Dynamite today said that QT Marshall appeared fine after Double or Nothing, and isn’t expected to miss any time or bookings,” the report states.

After Double or Nothing, AEW President Tony Khan briefly spoke about the situation during the post-show media scrum. While he did not share specific details, he reassured fans that Marshall was okay.

Marshall himself shared a positive update after the injury happened during the event. “Should be okay! Thank you to Team Medical for helping me to the back!” he wrote on X.

The situation could have been much worse considering how awkward the fall looked. For now, though, it looks like Marshall avoided anything serious. However, it is still unknown when he will be seen next.
