Rhea Ripley Isn’t a Huge Gamer, But Still Loves This PlayStation Classic

Plenty of WWE stars are big gamers in today’s day and age. Rhea Ripley may not be one of them, but the star said she still has a soft spot for some classics.

During a recent appearance on What’s Your Story? with Steph McMahon, the topic of video games came up. McMahon joked that she wasn’t good at them and never advanced to being able to play modern games.

Rhea Ripley related, noting that she sticks to what she knows and has stayed mostly in the now-retro era.

“I stick to what I know. I love my PlayStation 1 and I go to my PlayStation 2, and I only play Crash Bandicoot and Spyro. They’re my games, and Ratchet & Clank, that’s another one. But they were my games, I knew every single level, I knew everything, I memorised it, and yeah…obsessed.”

Rhea Ripley joked that she sometimes goes back now and “rages” at the games. “I play it now and I’ve kind of forgotten,” Ripley joked. “I rage because I’ve forgotten. I’m like ‘How are you this dumb? You knew this, this was your life.'”

While she may not have the gaming acumen of Cody Rhodes, it’s fun to hear Ripley talk about some old PlayStation classics. Currently, Ripely is the reigning WWE Women’s Champion, a title she won back at WrestleMania 42.
