WWE‘s Rhea Ripley recounts a recent fan encounter that left her baffled.
Reigning WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley appeared on a Twitch livestream with King Kreas alongside her husband, AEW star Buddy Matthews. The conversation became serious when they talked about how fans sometimes cross personal boundaries. Kreas asked Ripley if she ever felt scared of such invasions of privacy.
Rhea Ripley replied by opening up about a recent encounter with a WWE fan, who somehow got her phone number, and asked to meet her because they couldn’t buy tickets to SmackDown.
“All the time, especially when people walk up to my fucking house. And text me on my actual mobile phone. I won’t say how, but someone found my phone number, and they texted me the other day, wanting me to see them because they couldn’t buy tickets to SmackDown. It baffles me. It really does. There’s no privacy anywhere,” Rhea Ripley said.
Rhea Ripley reveals her weirdest fan interaction
Rhea Ripley recently spoke with WrestleZone and revealed the most bizarre interaction she’s ever had with a fan. She looked back at when a fan approached her at WWE World at WrestleMania 41 and asked her to sign his adoption certificate and be his “Mami.”
“Oh, man, I had one at Fanatics, maybe a year ago now? And he had printed out this whole adoption form because he wanted me to be his Mami,” she told WrestleZone. “And I had to take a photo of it, because I didn’t have time to read it. I had to read it later to see if it was actually real or not, but I signed it! I signed it, so basically, he’s Rhea Ripley’s child, one of many.
“He had written it all himself. It wasn’t properly legal, thank God,” she joked. “Otherwise, Rhea Ripley might have a child out there. But yeah, that was probably the wildest thing that I’ve seen come through my signings.
“It was very different and took a lot of creative mind flow to write that and make it look so legit,” Rhea noted. “I had to second-guess it and take a photo so I could look at it later.
