WWE Hall of Famer Refuses to Rule Out In-Ring Career Beyond Current Deal

Nikki Bella may have once called this WWE run her last one before her retirement, but she is no longer ready to say for certain when her in-ring career will end.

After returning at the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble, Nikki gradually became a regular presence on the main roster again. Brie Bella also joined her sister during this run, but an injury unfortunately kept Nikki out of action at WrestleMania 42 and ever since.

Now, she has admitted that the door remains open for her wrestling career to continue beyond her current WWE contract.

Nikki Bella wants more from her current WWE run

Speaking with Casino Guru, the WWE Hall of Famer said she has changed her perspective and is keeping her options open once her current contract comes to an end.

“Never say never. Honestly, it’s all going to depend on my body, how I feel I look in the ring compared to others,” Nikki said.

She explained that she never wants to stay around just to take opportunities away from younger talent.

“I’m the most aware person ever, and I don’t ever want to take spots from people. I am there to elevate, bring equity, and if I feel like I can’t hang, guess what? I’m not going to go hang. I’m not going to go pretend I can. We’ll see how I am at that point in life,” she added.

Even though Nikki Bella is not ruling out wrestling beyond her current deal, she said her focus right now is making the most of this run. She wants to improve in the ring, deliver some of her best work, and be involved in a storyline that truly matters.

Even if she eventually decides to step away from wrestling, Nikki doesn’t plan on leaving WWE behind completely. She said she would be open to taking on an authority role on TV and even mentioned Stephanie McMahon as inspiration.
