WWE’s Logan Paul To Appear In Court Over Defamation Lawsuit

Former WWE United States Champion Logan Paul will appear in court soon. The WWE star is continuing his legal fight with YouTuber Stephen Findeisen, also known as Coffeezilla. The dispute centers around claims tied to the CryptoZoo project.

Paul filed the lawsuit in a Texas federal court. He named Findeisen and Coffee Break Productions as defendants. A hearing is scheduled to take place in San Antonio.

Logan Paul is seeking more than $75,000 in damages and also asking for punitive damages. The dispute centers around Coffeezilla’s YouTube investigation series. Those videos released in December 2022 and went viral.

Paul’s legal team strongly disputes the claims made. They argue the videos misrepresented events and facts. According to the lawsuit, Paul did not commit fraud. His lawyers says others involved misled him instead.

They also claim he lost over $1 million. In 2023, Paul launched a buyback for holders. He pledged up to $2.3 million for users. The program ended in 2024 after several months and more than $1 million was reportedly returned.

Paul’s lawsuit also points to later comments from Findeisen. It specifically highlights a June 2023 post that read, “Logan Paul really is the type of dude to thank you when you expose his scam, then block you when you remind him to pay up.” The post received more than 6.5 million views.

While Paul’s legal battle with CoffeeZilla heads to court, he is currently out of action in WWE with a triceps injury that he suffered a few weeks ago at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
