Rhea Ripley’s knee injury has led to WWE making a running change ahead of its next Premium Live Event.
When WWE unveiled the poster for the upcoming Night of Champions Premium Live Event last week, it featured Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, United States Champion Trick Williams, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, and WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley.
However, WWE has removed Rhea Ripley from the official 2026 Night of Champions poster. She has been replaced by Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton on the updated poster, which is seen on the banner of the promotion’s official YouTube channel.
The change comes after WWE confirmed during last week’s SmackDown that Rhea Ripley suffered a knee injury and was being evaluated. There’s no word on when and how Ripley got hurt. However, fans did notice her wearing a bandage on her leg during some of her matches during the European Summer Tour after the Clash in Italy PLE.
WWE has yet to provide an update on Rhea Ripley’s evaluation, and the poster update suggests that she might not compete at Night of Champions. The promotion also hasn’t announced a match for Tiffany Stratton, who replaced Ripley on the updated poster. If she gets added to the card, it will mark the first time the Women’s United States Championship is defended in a WWE PLE.
