Indie Wrestler Calls Out Promotion Over Photoshopped Topless Image

Independent wrestler Diana Strong has publicly accused Austrian promotion Rings of Europe (RoE) of crossing a serious line backstage, alleging that a photoshopped image featuring her likeness was created and displayed without her knowledge or consent.

The controversy surfaced following a recent RoE event and comes at a time when the promotion is already facing criticism online over separate allegations involving wrestler Violet Nyte.

While RoE has not publicly addressed the latest claims, Strong’s account has quickly drawn attention across the wrestling community.

Diana Strong alleges Rings Of Europe used unauthorized image for storyline

Strong shared her version of events on Instagram Stories, explaining that she was already hesitant about attending the show after hearing about Violet Nyte’s situation. However, as the reigning champion in the promotion, she decided to fulfill her booking.

“After hearing about @violetnytepw situation I wasn’t very excited to come to RoE today,” Strong wrote. “I have decided to do it, because I was the champion and nothing bad have happened to me there. Until today.”

According to Strong, she learned before arriving at the venue that individuals in positions of authority within the promotion had printed a large image of a topless woman with her face allegedly photoshopped onto it.

She claimed the image was labeled “Dirty Diana,” shown to people backstage, and later left in the men’s locker room.

“Before arriving to the show heard that the people in power of this company have printed a big picture of a topless girl with my face photoshopped into it,” Strong stated.

Strong said the only explanation she received was that the image was intended for a storyline. However, she firmly rejected that justification.

“The only explanation I heard was ‘it was made for a storyline reason.’ I have never heard anything about. I have never agreed for it.”

In closing, Strong issued a warning to other female wrestlers, writing: “Ladies be careful when accepting bookings.”

For now, the ball is in RoE’s court. As wrestling fans know, storylines are meant to work the crowd — not leave talent feeling blindsided. Rings of Europe has not commented on the allegations as of this writing.
