AEW‘s Aaron Solo responds to Cody Rhodes telling a story about his failed attempt to impress Fallon Henley.
Current WWE SmackDown star and former NXT Women’s North American Champion Fallon Henley was the latest guest on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About podcast. During their conversation, Rhodes recounted a story from a few years ago when they were both in AEW, involving Aaron Solo.
Rhodes recalled Aaron Solo being attracted to Fallon Henley and wanting to talk to her for about a month. One day, he finally gathered the courage and tried to “shoot his shot”, but the interaction did not go as he had hoped. He saw her walking into an elevator holding a bag of Arby’s, and all he could do was awkwardly say ‘Arby’s, huh?’ before the door shut.
Aaron Solo’s tag team partner, Alan Angels, had also trolled him on social media after hearing Cody Rhodes’ story. Now, Solo himself has responded, seemingly taking it in stride. Solo simply corrected the detail that the bag Fallon Henley carried during the awkward encounter was actually from Rally’s, not Arby’s.
“It was Rally’s,” he wrote.
While he’s still under contract, Aaron Solo last appeared on AEW television on the February 26, 2025, episode of Dynamite, where he lost to Adam Page in 54 seconds. He recently competed in a dark match against Anthony Ogogo on the June 6, 2026, episode of Collision. However, he continues to appear on AEW’s sister promotion, Ring of Honor, and also competes in the independent circuit.
