Injury Update on Kyle Fletcher Following AEW Collision Taping – Report

There’s an update on Kyle Fletcher following an injury scare at an AEW Collision taping.

During the taping for the July 2, 2026, episode of AEW Collision at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, California, Kyle Fletcher took on El Phantasmo in a singles match. However, several fans pointed out that the former TNT Champion appeared to have sustained an injury during the contest.

Amid all the speculations, F4WOnline‘s Bryan Alvarez has shared an update on Kyle Fletcher’s condition on X/Twitter. “Although multiple fans reported tonight that Kyle Fletcher appeared to have been injured doing his match on Collision, we’ve been told he appears to be fine,” Alvarez wrote. “And it was likely just dehydration.”

Kyle Fletcher returned from injury at AEW Double or Nothing in May. He also competed in the Death’s Door 12-man steel cage match at Forbidden Door this past Sunday. His next match will take place on next week’s special  Beach Break edition of Dynamite, where he will challenge Konosuke Takeshita for the International Championship.

The event will also feature Chris Jericho taking on Tommaso Ciampa, an AEW Women’s World Championship No.1 contenders Casino Gauntlet match, and MJF defending the AEW World Championship against Kenny Omega. Omega faces a stipulation that will ban him from challenging for the title in the future if he loses.
