Damian Priest is continuing to grow his career outside WWE. The former World Heavyweight Champion has announced a new voice-acting role, revealing that he has joined the cast of a Netflix anime available in both English and Spanish.
Priest shared the news on social media and encouraged fans to watch WWE NXT before checking out the new season of the anime. The role is another big step in his growing voice acting career.

Priest took to X to announce that he is part of both the English and Spanish versions of the show. He also shared promotional artwork featuring the cast.

Priest voices Tatsufumi Iwata, a supporting character in the series. In the original Japanese version, the role is played by veteran voice actor Jiro Saito.
Moreover, he is not the only WWE star in the cast. The Miz also joins the English dub as Sam Atlas, giving the series another WWE connection.
Season 2 continues the story after Baki Hanma’s huge fight with his father, Yujiro Hanma. As fighters around the world look for stronger opponents, the legendary samurai Musashi Miyamoto is brought back through cloning, leading to high-stakes battles with modern martial artists.
This isn’t Priest’s first major voice acting job. Earlier, it was announced that he voices The Hood in the game Marvel Rivals. His role was revealed in the Season 9 trailer, where The Hood makes his entrance by saying, “No one beats The Hood,” before facing Apocalypse.
Priest’s deep and powerful voice has always stood out. He has previously said that voice-over work is something he would like to continue, especially because it’s less physically demanding than wrestling.
