Lola Vice opens up about her romance with fellow WWE star Damian Priest.
Across the wrestling world, the WWE Performance Center is routinely compared to Love Island as numerous relationships have sparked on its grounds. As revealed by NXT star Lola Vice, that remains the case for her romance with former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest, whom she initially met at the PC.
“I mean, we were always friends and I always admired him,” Vice told Denise Salcedo when asked about the origins of her relationship with Priest. He was always one of my favorite wrestlers actually because we share a similar culture. He’s Puerto Rican from the Bronx. I’m a Cuban from Miami. We have that Latino backgrounds, but I always felt like he represented and mixed in being Hispanic in the WWE the best way that I’ve seen. Then nothing, and then we were always friends for two years. I did a Main Event match at Raw and I remember he was there giving me advice. Actually met him at the PC, then one day I just agreed to go to dinner with him, and then the rest was history.”
Together, Priest and Vice have notably attended a Yankees game, played in Priest’s hometown of the Bronx. Last December, the pair also spent the Christmas holiday together.
Currently, Priest works on the WWE SmackDown brand, where he and R-Truth cemented themselves as the number one contender’s to the WWE Tag Team Championship. Vice resides on the NXT brand, coming off a fresh victory over Kelani Jordan in an Underground match.
