Former TNA Star Mike Santana’s Expected WWE Arrival Timeline Revealed — Report

Mike Santana’s next move remains officially unannounced. However, a new report suggests WWE could be where the former TNA World Champion lands sooner rather than later.

While no deal has been confirmed, the latest backstage update points to growing confidence that Santana’s wait may soon reach the home stretch.

Following his TNA exit, speculation has continued to build around Santana’s future. Now, fresh details have added more fuel to the conversation without making anything official.

WWE reportedly expects Mike Santana to arrive before the end of the summer

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE sources continue to expect Santana to join the company before the end of the summer. The report credits the positive relationships Santana built during his appearances on NXT through WWE’s partnership with TNA as a major reason for that belief.

The report stated, “WWE sources continue to expect Mike Santana to join the company before the end of the summer. WrestleVotes Radio spoke with sources that pointed to the strong relationships that Santana built when he made appearances for NXT as a TNA star.”

Beyond those appearances, Santana is also believed to have connected naturally with WWE audiences. According to the report, that authentic connection has strengthened his standing internally.

One source told WrestleVotes, “There’s an internal belief that Santana already has an authentic connection with the WWE Universe, which is something that isn’t easy to create. This has only strengthened his standing with the company. One source noted that it would be a surprise if Mike Santana didn’t arrive at the company relatively soon.”

The report follows a busy few weeks for Santana. He dropped the TNA World Championship to Nic Nemeth at Slammiversary before reportedly not being scheduled for TNA’s subsequent television tapings. He also teased “7/15” on social media as his contract approached its expiration. Meanwhile, TNA has since removed him from its official roster page.

For now, neither WWE nor Santana has confirmed a signing. Still, the latest report suggests the former TNA standout may be closer than ever to stepping into a WWE ring.
