Former TNA World Champion Mike Santana has fueled speculation about a possible move to WWE.
Santana recently finished his run with TNA Wrestling. His contract expired in mid-July after losing the TNA World Championship to Nic Nemeth at Slammiversary. Since his deal has ended, Santana is free to sign anywhere.
Reports have suggested WWE is interested in Santana. The company is reportedly considering bringing him straight to the main roster. Santana has also made several appearances on WWE NXT in the past. He has also been dropping hints about a possible WWE arrival, with his latest tease drawing even more attention.
Mike Santana drops major hint after leaving TNA
After his TNA exit, Mike Santana shared an emotional video on X, formerly known as Twitter. The video had no caption but featured highlights from his wrestling journey. It included fan meet-and-greets, championship moments, and scenes from New York City.
The video ended with Santana walking into an empty arena. Near the end of the video, Santana stated, “Undesirable to undeniable. Undesirable to undeniable. The marathon continues like Nipsey said. The marathon continues.”
The New York references quickly caught fans’ attention. WWE is set to hold Saturday Night’s Main Event in New York this weekend. That has only added more speculation about Santana’s future. While WWE remains the rumored destination, nothing has been officially confirmed.
