Adam Cole has joined the growing list of professional wrestlers taking part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. This is in support of fellow AEW personality Rebel.
The initiative comes after Rebel, whose real name is Tanea Brooks, revealed that she was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in March 2026. Since sharing the news, Rebel has thanked fans, friends, and colleagues for the overwhelming love and support she has received throughout her medical journey.
The wrestling promotion has also rallied behind her. The company recently announced AEW Rebel Heart Dynamite, a special benefit show that will raise funds for ALS organizations while honoring Rebel’s contributions to the company.

The former AEW Women’s World Champion recently nominated Chris Jericho, The Young Bucks, Adam Cole, Kris Statlander, Orange Cassidy, Thunder Rosa, and Renee Paquette to participate in the campaign. This aims to raise awareness of ALS and encourage donations to support research and patient care.
Responding to Baker’s nomination, Cole shared a video accepting the challenge. Furthermore, he encouraged fans to learn more about the disease and support the cause.
“What’s up, everybody? It’s Adam Cole, and I’ve been nominated for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge by Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. alongside Rebel, who we all love very much.

ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells that control voluntary muscles. As the condition advances, patients gradually lose the ability to move, speak, eat, and eventually breathe independently. While treatments can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life, there is currently no known cure.
