The road to WWE SummerSlam 2026 heated up on the July 27 episode of RAW, as WWE revealed the official weight for Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi before their huge Hell in a Cell match.
With the rivalry tied at 1-1 after their matches at WrestleMania 42 and Clash In Italy, the weigh-in became more than just checking their weight. It was another chance for both men to get inside each other’s heads before they meet at SummerSlam in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Oba Femi weighs in as Brock Lesnar refuses to step on the scale
Adam Pearce and Triple H hosted the official weigh-in. The steel cage was lowered for the segment.
Oba Femi entered first, accompanied by a police escort, before walking into the Cell. Pearce asked Femi to step onto the scale and announced his official weight as 302 pounds.
That might have raised some eyebrows because Femi had earlier been billed at 310 pounds. His new official weight makes him eight pounds lighter than before.
Then came Brock Lesnar along with Paul Heyman.
Instead of stepping inside the Cell, Lesnar stayed outside. He locked the Cell door and kept the key with him. Heyman said there had been a “change of plans,” claiming it wasn’t safe to let Lesnar inside because of how dangerous he is.
As Heyman talked about Lesnar’s history in Hell in a Cell, he said the Beast had already weighed himself backstage. According to him, Lesnar weighed 303 pounds, making him one pound heavier than Femi.
Whether that number was real or just another one of Heyman’s mind games is unknown since Lesnar never stepped onto the official scale.
The announced weight is also different from Lesnar’s usual billed weight, which has often been between 286 and 295 pounds.
