Rey Mysterio made his return to action during the WWE tour of Mexico last week. He was said to have looked “fine” in his in-ring return. He probably won’t be a regular in the ring for at least another few weeks, and the idea here, besides trying to sell tickets, was to put him in a six-man match so that he could be hidden and protected while he experimented to see how well his knee would hold up.
