Big Show Confirms New Contract Terms, Reveals Why He Didn’t Appear At WWE’s Greatest Royal Rumble

Big Show says he was originally scheduled to compete at last month’s Greatest Royal Rumble, but a leg injury prevented him from appearing in the match.

Big Show was a recent guest on the Steve Austin Show (h/t to Pro Wrestling Sheetand said he had a setback with his recent hip surgery that led to a 3.5 centimeter hole in his leg. He said four days later he felt good enough to make the trip to Saudi Arabia, but he was advised by Triple H to stay home.

It was also noted that Show confirmed he has signed a new three-year deal with WWE that will see him in a more limited role and he will be a Brand Ambassador. He said there was a brief period of time that he didn’t have a contract in January after the Royal Rumble, but Triple H ultimately made him an offer he couldn’t say no to.
